Corporation for National and Community Service - provides opportunities for Americans of all ages and backgrounds to engage in service that addresses our nation's educational, public safety, environmental and other human needs.

Hands on Network - made up of local volunteer organizations comprising community-based nonprofits, businesses, and civic organizations  

Network for Good - online nonprofit e-philanthropy organization founded by leading technology and media companies.  Individuals can donate, volunteer and get involved with the issues they care about via the Internet—using the virtual world to deliver real resources to nonprofits and communities.

Points of Light Foundation and Volunteer Center National Network  - supports local volunteer centers to increase the quantity and quality of volunteering; helps companies develop effective employee volunteerism programs.

Together We Can Change the World Day -This is a free, national online resource that publicizes community volunteer projects and helps volunteers find projects in their areas.  It provides free tools to assist with volunteer projects.  Together We Can Change the World Day is the first Saturday of every month.

United Way of America and United Way International - The United Way mobilizes people from government, business, faith groups, nonprofits, the labor movement, and the citizenry to address community-based issues

Volunteer Match - dedicated to helping everyone find a great place to volunteer. The organization offers a variety of online services to support a community of nonprofit, volunteer and business leaders committed to civic engagement.

World Volunteer Web - World Volunteer Web, created by the United Nations Volunteers Program, in partnership with other organizations, supports the volunteer community by serving as a global clearinghouse for information and resources linked to volunteerism.  It helps to catalyze partnerships among volunteer stakeholders from all continents.
